Spiritual Authority

Scripture: Luke 10:19; Ephesians 6:10–18

Contemplative: Stand firm in Christ’s victory.

Contending: Pray against spiritual strongholds.

Jesus has given us authority over the powers of darkness, calling us to stand firm in His victory. As we meditate, we remind ourselves that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces—and that Christ has already won. In that confidence, we take our place in prayer, declaring His truth over fear, doubt, and oppression. From this position, we intercede for our community, praying against strongholds and asking God to set captives free.

Lord Jesus, we stand firm in the victory You have won for us. Strengthen us with Your Spirit and equip us to resist every scheme of the enemy. Break strongholds, bring freedom, and speak Your truth to every dark place in our lives and community. May Your authority be known and Your kingdom advance through us. Amen.
