Scripture: Matthew 9:36–38
Contemplative: Ask for compassion like Jesus.
Contending: Pray for laborers in homes, workplaces, and campuses.
Jesus looks upon the crowds with compassion, seeing their need and longing to meet it. As we meditate, we ask Him to shape our hearts with the same tender concern for others. Let that compassion move us to intercede for the lost and the hurting. From this place, we pray for laborers—at home, in workplaces, and on campuses—who will go forth to share the gospel and bring in the harvest.
