Scripture: Mark 12:30–31
Contemplative: Examine your heart toward others.
Contending: Pray for specific neighbors by name.
God calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves, reflecting the love we have received from Him. In stillness, we examine our hearts—asking Him to reveal any hardness, judgment, or indifference toward others. Let His love reshape our attitudes and actions, turning us into vessels of His grace. From this place, we intercede for our neighbors, lifting them by name and asking God to meet their needs and draw them closer to Himself.
Lord, examine our hearts and show us where we have failed to love others as You love us. Replace hardness with compassion, judgment with grace, and indifference with care. We lift our neighbors to You by name, asking that You meet their needs, bless their lives, and draw them closer to Yourself. Teach us to love them well, as You have loved us. Amen.
