The Father’s Heart

Scripture: Luke 15; Jeremiah 31:3

Contemplative: Meditate on the Father’s love.

Contending: Pray for prodigals to return.

God’s heart is tender toward His children, always ready to welcome us back no matter how far we’ve wandered. As we meditate on His love, we see a Father who pursues, forgives, and delights in restoration. Let us rest in that unchanging love, allowing it to reshape our own hearts toward others. From this place, we intercede for prodigals—praying they would encounter the Father’s embrace and return to His arms.

Father, thank You for Your unfailing love that pursues us even when we wander. Soften hearts that have strayed and draw them back into Your embrace. Help us reflect Your mercy and patience, welcoming others with the same grace You show us. May Your prodigals return and rejoice in the joy of Your presence. Amen.
