A Message From The Elder Board

Our mission is to help people seek God & make disciples in their local community. Therefore, we want to ensure every dollar spent and mission-minded dollar used to advance the Great Commission. To do so, our Board of Elders presents a Stewardship Plan each year. The plan shows our church community how we intend to use and deploy the resources God has graciously entrusted to Local Church. The Stewardship Plan ensures financial transparency for our church family, partners, and any interested community members. It helps us maintain a culture of openness and accountability in how we steward our financial resources.

Partners of the Local Church will be invited to vote to affirm the Stewardship Plan through a ballot sent through the Partnership Slack. According to the bylaws, the annual budget requires a three-fourths majority vote of the corporate membership present at the corporate meeting to be approved.

There are a few highlights we’d like to draw your attention to:

Our total proposed budget increased from $304,030 to $352,899 (16% increase).
The Koinonia Network has committed $72,855 for their final year of support.
We plan to donate 5.5% of our annual budget to missions & outreach.
Our largest single operational expense is rented facilities, which total $71,560.
We hope to save approximately $70,000 for a future permanent facility.
