Today, I willfully express my desire to join in partnership with other disciples of Jesus at Local Church Knoxville:

Having repented of my sins and given Jesus the authority of my life salvation…

Having been biblically baptized by immersion after repentance…

Having affirmed the Local Church Statement of Faith…

Having read the Local Church Bylaws…

By the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit, I covenant with this body of believers to:

• Commit to embracing our mission statement
• Commit to gathering as Local Church.
• Commit to growing as a disciple of Jesus.
• Commit to giving sacrificially.
• Commit to going & making disciples.

I also acknowledge that as a partner, I will abide with Christ, walk in holiness, and love God and my neighbor. This means I will participate in the Local Church as a brother/sister in Christ, seeking to honor and love my spiritual family in word and deed.

I finally agree to participate in congregational care and spiritual accountability – recognizing the spiritual care and authority of the Elders as under-shepherds of the Lord Jesus Christ. Likewise, elders covenant with the congregation to lead in a humble, Christlike manner as described in 1 Peter 5:1-6. Together, we covenant to pursue any matters of dispute with a humble and sincere commitment to reconciliation.

By God’s grace, may we learn to love God and make disciples in our local community and throughout the world.
